Reason for this one, im having my meds raised :(
I want to do a few illustrations or maybe even strips into that other part of my life. Also i might do some on having M.E but nothing too glum.

I've started reading "Extraordinary People : Understanding Savant Syndrome by Darold A. Treffert" so far so good :)

1. Where did you grow up? Did you like it there?
I grew up in Poole (Dorset) yes and no, its pretty but the people are craaazy!

2. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
ooh i would love to shopping in Tokyo and DisneyWorld/Land

3. What was the first thing you crocheted?
It was a little pink ball hehe followed by a cupcake.

4. What are your top 3 favourite TV programmes of all time?
Arthur (yes the cartoon hehe) Red Dwarf and Blackadder

5. Were you a good student at school?

6. What are you most proud of?
hmm tricky question....i guess being artistic.

7. What skill would you like that you haven't got already?
oh theres loads! I wish i was better at maths and any musical talent would be nice.

8. Would you ever give blood?
I would but i havent because of other health reasons. Also even though it was asked I would living organ donor to a family member or to Pete.

As promised in my last post a comic strip :) I really should do more of these, maybe do a diary type one every now and then.

I really feel like doing some felt plushie making but i dont have many good colours of felt left. Im tempted to get a pack of 100 sheets I've seen online. Why cant Croydon have any craft or fabic shops?!

*Edit* It seems may prayers have been answered and theres a hobbycraft opening up next weekend!! so excited XD

popcorn noooom nom nom..pete keeps teasing me about choking on it and stuffing my face straight afterwards. I'm a trooper ;) We went to see inception and hoping to see to toy story 3 tomorrow.
Hand drawn and coloured in photoshop. I might do a comic strip version of this in just pen.

Present for Pete's sister & husband anniversary, she loves beauty & the beast :)
you cant really see in the scan but all of the gold lines are drawn with gold glitter.
Coloured with promakers and cleaned up on the computer, then more details added in pen afterwards.

Sorry about that lact of posts & comments, things have been hectic. Pete is on holiday too so there hasnt been much time for drawing.

stitch yourself

Last wednesday was the stitch yourself exhibit at the Science museum as part of their Lates night. Shame it was only for one night but there is talk on stitch london about them being shown in other places. So many cute dolls!

I bought a couple of new books,"When the comics went to war-Adam Riches" its full of gorgeous illustrations from comics of yesteryear. Although i dont really enjoy reading war comics i do love that 40s style artwork.
Second book was "Brief History of Infinity-Brian Clegg" looking forward to reading it but im sure the maths will boggle my mind!
